I’ve been Chair of PVSC since 2017 and I’ve been on the Supporters Club committee for over 11 years. Away from the Vale I work as a charity community fundraiser in the NHS. My first game was Tommy McClaren’s testimonial in the 1970s. You can find me on matchday’s in the Hamil Road Stand.

Vice Chair

I’m Paul Dixon, but everyone calls me ‘Dicko’. I’ve been a self-employed painter and decorator for almost 40 years. I’m a 50 year veteran of Vale Park, and have spent most of that time in the Railway Stand veteran. When I’m not at Vale Park I’m organising away travel from the Crown in Burslem.

Secretary

I’ve been following the Vale for 35 years, and have been involved with various fans groups during that time and I am currently enjoying my second stint as secretary with the PVSC, having also previously with the Port Vale Volunteers Group and VaST. Away from Vale Park I work as an engineer and project manager. On matchday you’ll find me sitting in the Railway Stand.

Phil Potts

Treasurer

My name is Phil Potts, and I’m a retired Finance Director. I’ve followed the Vale regularly since about 1965 (but went to my first game aged 2 in 1958). I joined the Supporters club committee in 2016, and I have also served five years as a Trustee for the Port Vale Foundation. I’ve sat in the same seat in Lorne Street since the new stand was built in 1999.

Media

My name is Matt, and I’ve been hooked on the Vale since I went to my first game in 1994, aged 6. I joined the committee in 2019 with the hope of bringing some of my experience as a journalist to the Supporters Club. On matchdays you can usually find me in the Hamil Road Stand.

Kerry Walshe

Kerry Walshe

Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity

I’m Kerry and I’ve been supporting the Vale since I was eight years old. By day I’m a registered care manager, but I also volunteer as a disabled football coach at Port Vale. When it comes to game day, you’ll find me sitting with Gill in the Paddock.

Disability

I was introduced to the Vale by my grandfather, who lived in Burslem, approximately 55 years ago. Due to being disabled I have always worked in the family businesses, travel, buses & retail. I now work as a property consultant and am involved with the Supporters Club representing disabled supporters. On a Saturday you’ll find me in Robbie’s.

Gill Griffiths

Mental Health Awareness

I’m Gill and I work as a counsellor, trainer and work in suicide prevention. My passion is for wellbeing and positive mental health. I’ve been following Vale since 1979, when I used to sit in the Paddock with my dad and Grandad. After wandering from Paddock to Bycars to Hamil I’m now back in the Paddock with Kerry.
